I'm watching season II at the moment, and I recall that I friend of mine and I, despite being dub-lovers, never did agree on which version was better, so I figured I should bring it up here.

Personally I prefer the dub, but I wouldn't call it objectively better. I think it may just be more a thing of connecting to the characters than anything. Still, I think that Heather Halley and Julie-Ann Taylor completely own the roles of Hagu and Ayu respectively. I find that Cam Clark doesn't really give the best performance, but does have a voice that fits Takumi perfectly. Shinobu is more or less equal in either language. Yuri Lowenthal is perfectly fine as Yuuta, but I'd say Hiroshi Kamiya pretty much dominates this role.

I only seen the dub and I thought it was very good.
Even when I was in crowd, I was always alone

I haven't watched it in sub, I thought the dub was perfectly adequate enough.

Wow! I thought its dub was complete trash; devoid of life and subtlety. Most of the lines were flatly performed, and I thought some of the casting decisions were questionable, namely Julie Ann Taylor's Ayu. It boggles my mind as to how a dub could be so bad when the talent at hand is more than capable to put forth a diligent effort.
